5 Easy Ways To Create The Future

Predicting the future exactly may be an impossible task. There are ways that you can influence your future however. The decisions you make everyday is in fact creating where you will end up 5, 10, and 20 years from now. This is true for every aspect of your life. If you have good habits today, your future will be a place that has good results. It is that simple and straightforward. Here are five ways that you can create a future that you want and not one that you end up with!

1. Write Your Destination

Where do you want to be in five years? how about five weeks from now? If you have even a vague idea of where you want to be it is a good idea to write this down so that you can come back to it. We don't know about you but it helps us to write things down because we move on and forget about things we were thinking about. When you know what you want out of your future and write it down you can always refresh your memory.

2. Analyze

What results have you had up to this point? Look at the good ones and look at the lessons. When you see what you did to get great results you can then do more of that. If you are currently not where you want to be in life, why is that? What can you do differently to get out of the current loop that is producing these un desired results?

3. Form The Habits

Once you know the actions that will lead you to your desired future then you can start forming the habits. A suggestion is to start in small amounts. Work up from there to form the habits and build upon them. Biting off too much at first may be discouraging making you lose incentive to do the actions needed over the course of a long period of time.

4. Take Small Wins

Having small wins along the way to the bigger future will allow you to keep going consistently. Small wins can provide confidence that you are making progress. Have small wins every day that you know you can accomplish while putting goals in there that will cause you to grow outside of the easily accomplishable ones.

5. Review

Review your bigger future every week to remind yourself where you are heading. This can provide added motivation because it will remind you about how excited you were towards your desired future re kindling this emotion.
